PRESS RELEASE: HUBERTEDWARDSGLOBAL SUCCESS SUMMIT TO DELIVER “SUCCESS KEYS T0 TRANSFORM YOUR WORLD”

HubertEdwardsGlobal (HEG) today announces that its annual Success Summit will be held on December 3 - 4, 2021 as a virtual event, free of cost to all attendees. Following four years of admirable growth, the HubertEdwardsGlobal Successes Summit will break new grounds and improve on its stellar record of delivering an impactful and transformational event. In addition to an impressive lineup of dynamic speakers from The Bahamas, Canada, Nigeria, United States and Jamaica, Success Summit 2021 will include the award of five educational scholarship grants and recognize ten individuals for leadership excellence.


To celebrate our fifth year we have increased the number of scholarship grants from three to five” noted Hubert Edwards, Founder of HubertEdwardsGlobal. “We are also very excited to announce the addition of a new leadership award category”. With expressed permission and support of Mr. Julius Garvey, son or Marcus Garvey, HubertEdwardsGlobal will this year present for the first time a diaspora Leadership Award. The award will be named in honour of the Pan-Africanist and Jamaican national hero, Marcus Garvey and Dr. Robert Love, the Bahamian pioneer who is widely identified as one of Garvey’s mentors. This award adds to the existing one sanctioned by the International Third World Leaders Association (ITWLA) and presented in honour of Dr. Myles Munroe.


Under the theme “Success Keys to Transform Your World”, the summit will host its first Youth Day on day one. The presenters are Carlos Palacious, Sharell Carroll, Heater Sutherland, Nikera Dean, Hubert Edwards and Dr. Dave Burrows from The Bahamas; Garfield Morgan, Conroy Ward and Jasmin Beckford-Johnson from Jamaica and Jesse Kanadi from Nigeria.


This first day is targeted at young persons and students in The Bahamas and Jamaica through a collaboration with Senior Pastor, International Speaker and Author Dr. Dave Burrows and IRise. Hubert Edwards noted, “We very proud of the chance to join with Dr. Burrows and his organization in impacting the lives of young people, an area he is well known for locally and internationally”. Dr. Dave Burrows stated, “I have been associated with Success Summit as a speaker for a number of years now and I am delighted to partner with HubertEdwardsGlobal. I also serve as a trustee and as such, I am looking forward to working together as we seek to positively contribute to our country, countries of the region and the wider world”.


The faculty of trainers for day two brings together another diverse and dynamic mix of local and international speakers – Franklyn Butler, Jeff Beckles, Caline Newton, Anastracia Palacious, Troy Strachan, Simmone Bowe, Amad Thompson, Cheryl Bazard, Victoria Mullings and Dr. Charles Diggiss from The Bahamas; Dr. Leahchim Semaj, Dr. Charmaine Gooden-Montieth, Valerie Grant, Alfred Thomas of Jamaica; Gail Sweeney


and Matt Kinsey of the USA and Alex Ihama of Canada. “We are simply delighted and humbled to have this opportunity to bring together such a powerful group of individuals who are we know are committed to the success of others” said Edwards.


In its short existence, the organization’s achievements speaks volumes of its commitment to the vision of creating transformational force for positive impact in the region. Over 1,000 persons directly impacted through the Summits. Over $15,000 contribution in cash and kind in The Bahamas. Over 50 local and international presenters on stage. There have been six countries reached directly; six Leadership Excellence Awards in the Bahamas; six Scholarship Awards in The Bahamas; Donations made to two Bahamian schools; Cash contribution to one Charitable Organization to help build a therapeutic pool. Three school tours presenting to hundreds of students in over twenty schools in Jamaica; two Scholarship Grants to schools in Jamaica; and collaborating with a Jamaican school contributed to Freeport Primary for hurricane relief.


Its Leadership Awards alumni are Barry Rassin, Anthony J. Longley, Ricardo Pedro Deveaux, Mario Moxey, Joan Albury and Felix Stubbs. The latter four together with Dr. Dave Borrows are the Trustees of the organization.
